Tips for Telling Hypnosis Stories   

Hypnosis and story telling are closely related, even if you don’t realize this.  When you are going to perform hypnotism you need to be an entertainer and you need to be able to tell a story. When you actually have someone open to the power of your suggestions you need to be able to tell stories to implant ideas.  For this reason, you should follow a few basic hypnosis stories that will help you be the best that you can be.

Plant Ideas And Give Suggestions 

You may not be aware now, but hypnosis stories allow for planting ideas and also giving suggestions to the subject of hypnosis and thus make a frame that can be set to mirror common problems as well as experiences, and then to suggest suitable solutions that can be put to work on these problems and experiences.  Storytelling is just part of the process! 

Hypnosis stories are made better when you allow for your creativity to flow, so don’t block it, reach down and grasp it. To make your hypnosis stories even more effective, you can use tricks such as avoiding trying to be too good, and to follow a set of rules which include not trying too hard to create a best story; rather, staying true to the story despite some muck being thrown up is what is required.  With practice this will become natural. 

You should focus in on what you want your hypnosis stories to be, not what you think they should be.  When you allow for others to control your creativity this is where your abilities will lack.  You should be uncaring of what others may feel about your muck and it is to your advantage to tell hypnosis stories in which all of the muck comes out as this will make your creativity flow and it will bring out more creative ideas, too. 

Visualize your story when you are telling your hypnosis stories, as this will help you be more descriptive and accurate. And, along with this visualization, you need to keep things connected to one another so that one part of the story can be naturally associated with another part.  Sometimes you just need to practice being able to talk and do the hypnotism at the same time, which can take some practice. 

As you can see, hypnosis stories play an important role in your ability to hypnotize people and draw in a crowd.  Many people can learn how to hypnotize another individual, but when you don’t have the stories to go along with it and you aren’t comfortable with them, you might have a difficult time entertaining those who are looking on.
